Day 43: Red Alert! Dogodile Attack

Into to reds for the latest day in the 365-day charity trainer challenge. You can help by donating!

Feb 12

Forget Sharknado and Frankenfish. Here’s the Syfy channel movie waiting to happen: Dogodile Versus MegaCons.

Yes, it’s the classic low-top red Cons for Day 43 and they facing the strange creature I picked up in Barcelona a few years back. There’s clearly a Picasso influence but I’ve got no idea what it’s supposed to be. My partner at the time absolutely hated it, so when the inevitable split came, there was no argument over who got custody of the cubist mutant. I love the way he still freaks out visitors.

Going to keep it short today as my boiler has broken down, I’m waiting in for the repairman, shivering under a duvet, and my fingers are so cold I can barely type properly. But I’m not grumbling too much; at least my belongings aren’t floating off through the door. I’m never going to complain about cycling uphill to get home ever again!

More tomorrow!

Usual sign-off:

Current total: £445  (Hmm, seem to be stuck on this amount, but I have plenty of promises! But go on – pledge a pound just so that I can post something different!)

• Remember this is all for charity, so any pennies or pounds you can spare PLEASE DONATE BY CLICKING HERE.

• Follow me on Twitter to make sure you see what trainers I’m wearing each day.

• If you have any trainers you could donate (either on loan or old pairs you’re getting rid of) which are size 9 (ish – I can do anything from 8 to 10) contact me at so we can arrange collection.

• Please, please, please leave comments below! I’m after ideas for mini-challenges, future photoshoots and how I can find enough pairs of trainers!
