Day 64: Star Trek Too: The Wrath Of Cons

There’s nothing like a good sequel. And (all join in) this is nothing like a good sequel…

March 5 b

Yesterday I promised you a Star Trek sequel if I could come up with a good Wrath Of Khan pun… but I went ahead and posted this anyway.

Actually, Wrath Of Cons was so obvious, I’m surprised I hadn’t thought of it already anyway.

Alternatively, it could have been Converse All-Star Trek, I suppose.

But it also means I’ve used up another precious pair of my own Cons. Only two pairs left. Will there still be a pair available on May the Fourth (be with you… you must have guessed that was always earmarked for a Star Wars photoshoot). Looks like I’ll have to think up something more original that Converse All-Star Wars (but it does prove that trainers and sci-fi always belonged together).

On the other hand, using my corduroy Cons today does mean you’ve been spared a “ribbed for pleasure” blog somewhere down the line.

Though maybe not, because they’re far from the only corduroy trainers… and some are actually not at all bad (not sure about the Pumas, though). Oddly, I could find no evidence of Corduroy Nikes, and this from a company that makes a pair of trainers out of tube train upholstery.
